I have small hands myself, 7.5 inches, small fingers and 3.7 inches across the palm. My ex-gf used to have big hands for a girl, her hands are at least 7.7 inches and she is 5'7. I'm a 5'8.5 guy. To be honest I didn't like the idea of her having longer hands but I wouldn't mind being with a girl with the same hand size.
