I believe in self-medication. People should know more about themselves than strange doctors. I had a friend who went through some horrible things so she tried something and, for at least a week so far, has seemed much more content and easygoing.
Does not mean go out and use a bunch of heroin or meth or something because you have issues. Moderation is key. But there are some things that can only be used in moderation for so long so you reach a point when you have to deal with your problems without any crutches.
