Are 'iin' answers representative of the views of the wider public?

I personally think the answers to questions you get on here aren't representative of the views of the wider population e.g. something may be voted normal on here but the results if put to the rest of the world may be different. Do you think answers on is it normal represent the view of the general public, average Joes and the like?

It depends on the question being asked, who you are asking, and what type of answer you are looking for.

This group may be diverse (ish), but it isn't a small scale world model. You will not get a response from much of the older generations. And you certainly won't get a response from people who live in underveloped countries. And it is heavily biased towards those who speak English. Which will naturally eliminate many different world views and perspectives.

But at least it's a start.

NO! IIN is full of weirdos. That's why we're here. Because we're weird, and we typed up if our weird thing was normal, and google showed us isitnormal.com because some other weirdo does the same weird thing you do, and thus the IIN community is born. So no. This is probably one of the few sites that would show as anything over 60% normal when someone asks, "it it normal that I like to masturbate over my sister." No, no thrice times, no.

No, we may attract a somewhat diverse group of people but to an extent, we kind of attract a limited group of people by nature of the site.

People who are bored and just killing time. Or like me who just like to get a reaction from others. We're the type who the majority are probably not married or we'd be busy with our spouses.
      Whatcha think?

        "Whatcha", is not a word.
"Wichita", is a word. It refers to a tribe, who formerly spoke a Caddoan language. Also, several places named after them.

        Please use proper spelling.
        What do you think?

            ain't\ˈānt\
1 : am not : are not : is not
            2 : have not : has not
3 : do not : does not : did not — used in some varieties of Black English
            Origin: contraction of are not.
            First use: 1749
Usage: Although widely disapproved as nonstandard and more common in the habitual speech of the less educated, ain't in senses 1 and 2 is flourishing in American English. It is used in both speech and writing to catch attention and to gain emphasis <the wackiness of movies, once so deliciously amusing, ain't funny anymore — Richard Schickel> <I am telling you—there ain't going to be any blackmail — R. M. Nixon>. It is used especially in journalistic prose as part of a consistently informal style <the creative process ain't easy — Mike Royko>. This informal ain't is commonly distinguished from habitual ain't by its frequent occurrence in fixed constructions and phrases <well—class it ain't — Cleveland Amory> <for money? say it ain't so, Jimmy! — Andy Rooney> <you ain't seen nothing yet> <that ain't hay> <two out of three ain't bad> <if it ain't broke, don't fix it>. In fiction ain't is used for purposes of characterization; in familiar correspondence it tends to be the mark of a warm personal friendship. It is also used for metrical reasons in popular songs <Ain't She Sweet> <It Ain't Necessarily So>. Our evidence shows British use to be much the same as American.

It isn't any of my concern, if you wish to be considered 'nonstandard' and / or 'less educated'.

              These are the Rules:

              1) Survive in good health.
              2) Reproduce; but not to the extent of overpopulation and the detrimental effects thereof.
              3) Learn about this Earth / Universe in whichever field(s) of study best suits you.
              4) Work smart and efficiently, but a little hard work now and again is probably a good thing too.
              5) Be happy, keep a good sense of humour and enjoy the pursuits of life (recreation).
              6) Try to get along with others. If you can't get along, graciously walk away or try to negotiate a mutually agreeable separation
(friendship, family, love and property, etc.).
              7) Be charitable, but not to the point of dependency (A hand up is better than a hand-out).
              8) Do not impose your beliefs on others. Healthy discussion / debate is allowable.
              9) Live within your means. Try to live a moderate life. Do not overindulge.
              10) Be honest with yourself and others. Be polite and courteous with others.
              11) Conserve energy and resources. Limit your use of plastics.
              12) Be respectful of the natural environment. Do your part to prevent / control the spread of exotic and invasive flora and fauna. Encourage natural biodiversity.
              13) Do not submit to corruption and criminal intent.
              14) Use violence only in cases of self-defense, last resort or pre-emptive measures.
              15) Make a plan. (For all applicable points above).
              16) I freely admit that I have not fullfilled all of the above (to the letter), but that I try to do my best.

Any person is welcome to challenge the Rules.
Any person is also welcome to change, make additions to, make deletions from, or otherwise alter or modify the Rules (for improvement thereof),
with the strict proviso that ithe Rules should be ideally Universally acceptable to All persons,
and that, this is done in accordance with a majority consensus in any administrative region. (This would then be acknowledged in that particular administrative region only).

Any person is also challenged to produce a better set of rules, with the proviso above, should they disagree with the Rules.
They will do this of their own accord and expense, then share this with the human inhabitants of Planet Earth.
