        An idea that seems like it wouldn't sell, but it does.

        A gimmick. At least to me it seems that way.

        It's not clever to buy it, but it was clever to come up with the idea.

        Do you see what I mean now? :)

          Some water is toxic and it is necessary to buy it in a bottle.

          And I don't think a gift card sounds like a gimmick. It's just like buying store credit.

            True say. If it's not somewhere where it's absolutely needed though, then that is sorta silly have to agree.

            Gift cards seem ooky spooky to me though.

            "You have to pay us extra so you can shop at only our store." Isn't that the way it is?

          To me bottled water and gift cards are worthwhile buys.

      I love bottled water! Tap water can be pretty gross in some places.

          Yep, and even if it's safe if the tap water tastes bad I won't drink enough water so I buy alkaline water to get my 8 glasses a day, and stay properly hydrated.

            I still feel like it's strange to buy water in wasteful little bottles. If one must get water otherwise because the tap water is undrinkable, large jug things are the most cost effective and environmentally friendly. But that's just my feelings.
