The thing is, it's so hard to trust people these days. One moment you meet someone and get along with them just fine, then the next moment they start saying s*** behind your back, they stop answering your phone calls or texts, and they start choosing everyone or everything else over you. At this point in my life, I don't care how long my friendships with other lasts. I'd rather be a loner than to have someone who likes me one moment, and then suddenly changes their minds about me for no apparent reason the next moment. If you ask me, I think friends are so overrated.
