Depending on how much he consumed there's a chance he might be okay and pass it, white chocolate has minimal cocoa however you definitely need to monitor him closely. If he starts showing signs like lethargy, laying down a lot and refusing to move, opening his beak/panting and closing his eyes you definitely need to get him to a vet.

White chocolate barely registers as chocolate. Since chickens digest their food in like, three hours, chances are he already passed it and he's fine. If you're really worried, take him to a vet to get checked.

If you are really afraid or the chicken gets worse, go to vet

Why are you asking this question here?

I just Googled "is chocolate toxic to birds". The first result confirmed that it's the theobromine in chocolate that makes it toxic to birds, which is the same substance that makes it toxic to dogs and cats (and also minimally toxic to humans). I then Googled to find out if white chocolate is toxic to dogs, and the first couple of results from reliable websites stated that the amount of theobromine in white chocolate is so low that a dog would have to eat a hell of a lot of it to suffer any problems.

If the chicken ate only a small amount, it seems likely that the bird will probably be fine.

You really shouldn't be feeding animals anything but their natural diet or a close complementary. Chocolate is dangerous to many animals. A little bit of white chocolate shouldn't hurt anything.

No, it's fine. White chocolate has barely any cocoa in it. It's basically just milk and sugar. Just don't do it again.

I've found chickens, unlike dogs, are pretty good at not eating stuff that kills them. That seems to be how mine are, anyway.

Well, according to Google (a source that you really should have checked first), chocolate is one of the most toxic things you can feed a chicken. Have fun with that.

Would God be happy with the casual cruelty of your last line? He saw that.

Is what I typed a sin? No, it's not. You can not prove it to be a sin, either, because it is not.

So God isn't concerned with you being a good person or not, only if you follow a set of arbitrary rules? It's fine to generally be a preachy piece of shit with low empathy?

Technically, yes. At least, if you leave out the "piece of shit" part. "Preachy" and "low empathy" are fine, though. Lacking empathy is not a sin; it is merely a descriptor of how a person feels towards others. One can still be a good person while lacking empathy. Preaching is a moral good. Snarky comments are not sinful in any way.

So basically God is cool with just cruelly saying "good luck with that" to someone whose pet, which they may love like family, is potentially going to die an agonizing death?

    I hope it dies.

    But it won’t.
