Except that America has always been about stupid people. Smart nobility have never been allowed there, so they created a Congress instead. Without nobility, all these stupid people could see they would have to work smart. So they outsourced the dumb stuff raising the level of wealth. Governing is not work, so the American government still unleashes it's stupidity on the world.
