Are breasts "sexual" or "sexualised" ?

So for as long as I can remember whenever I wanted to watch porn the first thing I would write was "big boobs" or something of the genre.

Big breasts have always attracted me in a sexual way.

If breasts are sexualised.. How are they sexualised ?
If breasts are sexyak.. How are they sexual ?

I really want to hear your say on this one !

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Both.

Fun fact: Humans are the only mammals with permanently swollen breasts.

    • It may very well be a frontal display to compensate for humans walking upright.

  • Breasts are simply just a part of a ladies body. I'm equally fine people seeing them as I am any other part of my body. We were all born naked, and are all the same underneath. I massage some of my female clients breasts and it's also refreshing that a couple of therapists I see for a massage are at ease massaging mine too.

  • Breasts are baby bottles. They are not sexual. However, they can play a part in sexual arousal. And WOW! they are beautiful to look at.

  • A woman's breasts are sexual. It is also a reason many women get breast implants. It makes them more attractive to a larger pool of potential mates. Men are genetically attracted to women with large breasts, and there is nothing wrong with that!

  • Breasts are attractive to men also because they are a part of the body that differentiates a female from a male

  • I guess both. From what I've learned, the reason men like big breasts is because the woman with the bigger breasts is thought to be a better nurturer for offspring so, by nature, men are aroused by breasts but, as is obvious, breasts are also quite sexualized too in media and advertisement. I personally don't see this as a bad thing. I just see it as a way of selling and, obviously, sex sells and with that being true, why would companies pass up the chance? And most women seem to enjoy the idea of men being attracted to them, what with breasts implants and other contraptions that make your breasts appear to be larger (I've seen ads for this kind of thing that go as far back as the 19th century).

  • They are over sexualised by miles. All they are there for is lactation. Some men have breasts and they can still take their tops off so why not women?

  • Breasts are "sexualized," in certain cultures, though not in all cultures. Sure, they're a secondary sex characteristic, but then again, plenty of other things which are secondary characteristics aren't sexualized to any great extant (see any "beard porn" out there? What about "lip porn?" Hair on one's genitals indicates that one is of or near reproductive age; how much of it do you see in porn? None.). Anything which is generally hidden can be fodder for sexualization, be it ankles (at one time, they were scandalous), a woman's hair in Islamic societies, or whatever else one might imagine.

  • If you can science then you know that it's both. Biology intended both form AND function.

If you can't science then no, breasts are sexualized by a cruel society and that is just plain wrong.

    • I'm confused by your comment, does that mean that you think they're sexual or are they not?

      • No, it means he got distracted thinking about boobs.

        • I see, I misunderstood him because I thought he laughed at the thought of people thinking boobs are sexual. I'm sorry Nathan for thumbing down your comment while misunderstanding you
