Anyone else see comet neowise?

I've been waiting for over a week for clear skies to see the comet, but every night it was either cloudy, or raining.

Today I got lucky, clear skies tonight, and went to see the comet with my girlfriend. We drove to the edge of town, away from the city lights to get a better view. She was not as impressed as me, but I found the whole experience absolutely wonderful.

Knowing I've seen something so beautiful, rare and distant, cause Neowise comes 'round every 7000 years. And in a few days it will no longer be visible, speeding off into the cold, infinite blackness... Possibly never to be seen again by mankind.

Seeing Neowise in all of it's glory was magnificent and I'm really happy I got the chance to see it. Anyone else feel like this?

I and my twelve-year-old daughter saw NEOWISE the night before last.

I kept her up until midnight (she wasn't protesting at all, actually), and the skies were clear, but unfortunately there's a fair amount of light pollution north of our house due to an oil refinery, and at this time of year the northwestern sky at our latitude (UK) still has some afterglow even that late. So it wasn't easy to spot, and she was pretty underwhelmed.

I told her comets are unpredictable, and she might get a better view the next time it swings by in a few thousand years.
