Anxiety comes with little things?

I have horrible anxiety when it comes to:

Things I'm worried about my boyfriend doing or
something bad that probably won't happen, happening.

Is that normal? I get so terrified sometimes I start to cry or shake. It strains my relationship with my boyfriend at times. I hate it so much. Any help or advice?

I have/had this, big time. There are endless causes and endless solutions, but here's one that has done wonders for me: Megadosing Vitamin C. We humans can't make it in our bodies, and this is an evolutionary cock-up of epic proportions! The RDA for vitamin C is woefully inadequate - merely enough to prevent scurvy. The only other animals that can't synthesise Vitamin C have diets that give them LOADS (e.g. Fruit bats, some primates). The animals that can synthesise it make LOADS - and up to 10 times as much when stressed!

So get a decent vit C supplement, and take it every few hours (the body can't store it). As much as you like, 10,000mg a day if you like - it won't do you any harm (being about as toxic to the body as water!) and will interact with cortisol and probably have a dramatic effect on your anxiety.

I hope it works for you as well as it has for me. Google it, it's clear even from just the Wikipedia articles that we all need more of it!

It sounds like an anxiety disorder that you should see a dr. about. I was insanely paranoid and jealous with my first husband... We are no longer together b/c of that. I now take anti depressants and do much better. Good luck

yeah its normal well I do the same so we may be weird together
I know all to well how it can strain your relationship where there talking to some one and you begin to worry what there saying so you try to stop them or you begin to panick which puts you in a bitter mood so you end up arguing etc

the way I try to get away from it is by just thinking its ok sounds stupid but it normally works just think
truthely think about whats causing you distress think what the worst thing that could happen is
    identify it
    think how to stop it
anxiety is brought on by not being in control by not being able to stop somthing
hoplessness and helplesness so by thinking and coming to terms with whats a matter you eliminate these factors and soon the anxiety goes

    i hope this helps
    good luck :D
