  • Resilient to recovery..I think you mean resistant to recovery...true anorexia as opposed to eating disorders is very difficult to treat successfully and therefore most true anorexics are initially resistant to recovery...they use their
    LAck of food, starvation and obsessions and rituals as coping mechanisms and since these coping mechanisms reduce anxiety they have a hard time giving them up...they need professional in patient treatment that reduces the anxiety first....
