I don't think that's accurate either, as 'white' people, as with all races of people, come in different 'shades' or colours, so technically everyone could be deemed 'coloured'.
I think it means, white people are plain like a sheet of paper, and anyhting beyond that, regardless of shade, is 'colored'.
