I got my DNA tested thru 3 different companies. Ancestry, 23&me, and my heritage. (BTW if you're considering doing that, go with Ancestry.. the best one by far, ask me if you want the details) Anyway, I found out I'm almost all English on both mom and dad's side and a little bit of eastern European and Scandinavian.

I have no clue. I wasn't close to my family growing up and haven't spoken to them in years. As far as I'm aware I have nothing particularly interesting in my blood though.

  • I was told I'm Scandinavian but I'm not sure if that's true, accurate, or what it means

    • Cherokee seems to be the most common Native ancestry, apparently.

I have about 10% Native American ancestry (mostly Cherokee) The rest is white, I think Irish or Scottish, though my first name is Italian & my last name is Welch so I might have a little of those too.

You probably have a lot of scotch-irish in you. A lot of people who moved to the area were fleeing the british empire because the king was forcing them into the church of england and they were very religious protestants. They kept moving to have religious freedom and eventually fled to the USA and a majority of them went to live in tje appalachian mountains

I've never tried to verify it; but, all my life there's been a story that I descended from some guy named Adam and a lady named Eve.

On my mothers side I'm 1/8th Pottawatomie Indian; and a good part Prussian. Hard to guess the rest.

My fathers side has a solid slice of German; but much is a mystery as my Grandmother on my fathers side was adopted as a young child and other than the fact that she was white and of some kind of European/Nordic descendant; all we have is speculation.

Spanish, German, Welsh, Scottish and Irish for the most part. I supposedly have English, French and Italian as well, but not as much as the rest. My surname is Welsh.
