What do you expect when you live in a culture that worships money and consumerism and you have an underclass of disadvantaged people who can barely even survive day to day let alone ever have any of the luxuries held up and flaunted before them daily. You have a massive ever expanding gap between rich and poor. The only people enjoying the luxuries are the wealthy. The rich just getting richer and the poor are left to rot. Of course when you have such a divide between the haves and the have nots you’re going to get angry people who will just take what they are told they cannot have. Not saying it’s right but just that it’s inevitable. Society created the problem and then pretends to be shocked and disgusted when people behave poorly. The rich and powerful are worse IMO. Nobody gives the
poor a hand up. They just get a proverbial boot in the head to kick them down further. Once upon a time if you worked hard enough you could make a good life. It’s no longer so.
