I'm American living in the north east and a southern accent on girls make me feel the same way, for some strange reason. Luckily a lot of the call centers and customer hotlines (that aren't in India or the Philippines or other such places) are actually located in the southern states as they have cheaper labor or property taxes, or something along those lines. So it's common to call one of those numbers and hear a nice heavy accent on the other end, usually in a female voice from youngish ladies who take most of those types of jobs.
