It's sad that we have to pay for health care. People are so incredibly greedy here that they charge others just because they are sick or hurt when it's not even their fault. It costs money just to have a baby!
Thats ridiculous and insensitive. And it doesn't make any sense. 1. Babies aren't supposed to be thin. 2. It's not the baby's fault that he's "too fat". 3. whatever insurance company that was probably cost an arm and a leg for this couple, so who are they to deny their baby coverage?

There was this incident where a insurance company refused to cover a baby.
This couple were both covered, but they tried to get their son covered and the insurance company claimed that they couldn't because he was "too fat".
This happened a few years ago so, I don't know if it was ever resolved or not.

Because, they didn't want to pay and america is stupid.
That's the only thing I could think of and the kid wasn't even "obese".
