Holy that is young. Was he a 24/7 guy? Just asking because the youngest person in my family to die of alcoholism was 62 and he downed 2 fifths every day since the age of 10. Guess my family must have strong livers.
Yeah, it is young. From what I can remember, he had 9-10 beers on most days and some days, he'd have a few more so about 12 total. He started drinking heavy at 21 and tried to slow to 5 beers a day for 6 months but couldn't.
Maybe your family do have strong livers. It's all down luck, really. Like although most smokers get lung cancer or heart attacks as a result of smoking, some never do. Still, 62 is young. That's sad as well!

My cousin destroyed his liver and died at 39 from his excessive drinking. Please, please try and lay off it as much as possible.
