Well, but why do we call a person with a long erectile organ (penis) and no vaginal opening "he" and a person with a short erectile organ (clitoris) and vaginal opening "she"? Give me a logical argument based on science. And bear in mind, there are languages without gendered pronouns.
What is gender, then?
Let's assume that a person with XY in every cell, more T than E, testicles, no ovaries, long erectile organ, no vaginal opening is male. They should wear men's clothes, use men's bathroom, have a boy's name, playing football and getting dirty is cool and badass for them, babbling over a kitten and crying over sad movies is emasculating.
A person with XX in every cell, more E than T, ovaries, no testicles, short erectile organ, vaginal opening is female. They should wear women's clothing, use women's bathroom, have a girl's name, playing football and geting dirty is dangerous for their fragile body and lowers chances of getting a mate, babbling over a kitten and crying over sad movies is cute.
There is a whole loaded package with words like "man/male" or "woman/female". There are not simply a diagnosis of a persons body, but carry social implications.
Let's say a child is born with chimerism. There was supposed to be a pair of twins, male and female, but instead there is one kid with mixed genes. The child has ovotestis, organs composed of mixed tissues and ambigous genitalia. Which clothes, which name, which pronouns, which bathroom etc. would you scientifically give to that person?
If there is only male and female then how come a third option is "defect"? You would say someone is a man or woman, but callig a whole person a defect is rather disturbing.
Why? Because we associate a male as having a penis and a girl as having a vagina
we've always done this. everybody does this
the united states is just the first country to go mentally crazy to be honest
look at ANY other country and they all have their heads on straight
some things are just personality traits and nobody can define what a male or female can be like
but having a penis is genetic. its a fact of nature. thats why they're a boy. for having a penis. not because they play football
some boys dont. its a personality trait
playing football is part of culture anyway. some countries guys play soccer
its not disturbing, its just the truth haha
if its a defect, then it is. if the genetics were fucked up, by lets saying incest, then yes, its well known that this happens with inbreeding. defects.
am i trans or gay?
