I don't reveal my favorite things to people. I hate it when I show someone something I really like and it suddenly becomes their favorite thing. I just hate people loving my favorite things. Then I turn into a dick and tell them everything I know about it to prove that I am the bigger fan. It's like a hipster mentality for me I guess.
My friends do that all the time. After a few months they forget that it was in fact me that introduced them to it and start talking about it as if I've never heard of it. Fucking hate it.
