Am i obsessed with my best friend?

I am a 21-year-old guy who moved from Puerto Rico to North Carolina like 6 months ago. I have this weird relationship with my female best friend. Even when we were both in PR, we talked each other about EVERYTHING. We are exactly the same, female and male version of each other. Love the same stuff, same sense of humor, etc. Since I moved, our relationship has become weird-er. We are ALL DAY chatting on the cell phone, on facebook and msn. We have the most random conversations ever, and we even send messages to each other just to say the song we are listening, where we are, if someone that passed by is hot, etc at least 5 times an hour. But that’s not all, if we are eating; we take pictures of the food and send it to each other, almost everytime. We have our own “language”, society, blogs and other stuff. Another weird thing is that we often have different conversations at the same time, like for example we can be talking about one thing on the msn, but at the same time another topic on Facebook. Plus, we NEVER talk on the phone, is either texting or in person. Is this normal?
