Am i normal to get super anxious at night

My anxiety isn’t really bad. I wouldnt even say I have anxiety (especially since I was never diagnosed lol) but at night, like right now, I get this feeling that I’m being watched. I have to have my door closed so I can hear if anybody comes into my room, I have to have my blinds closed, and, even during the day, when I enter a room I usually look around to see what I could use as a weapon if need be. When I’m trying to fall asleep I imagine creepy people being in my room just staring. I get that little-kid-type feeling when you’re scared and you don’t move at all. I really just want some advice on how I can stop this. It’s a terrible feeling and I want to be able to turn over in bed without the feeling that I’ll be attacked😬 this is probably a weird problem lol

No idea if it’s “normal” but I get this all the time. By day I’m curious (some would say nosy), occasionally impulsive, and very much fascinated by things dark and unusual, but at night, all that changes, and I feel like a five year old scared to death of monsters in my closet. Until I was about thirteen, I would lay petrified in fear late into the night. Now that I’m a little older I just leave the light on when I get scared, which helps a lot. Yeah, it’s less conducive to a good nights rest, but in my mind that’s a small price to pay.
