The funny thing about these personality disorder things... their symptoms are extremes. Everyone has mild symptoms of damned near every mental disorder you can think of. It's when it starts causing DISORDER that you have a disorder.
And no, everyone has some disorder in their lives. We're talking about extremes. Using people for money, stealing from them, honestly believing that it doesn't matter if others get hurt just so long as you achieve your goals, killing them, doing god awful shit or having to spend a great deal of your time and energy refraining from doing awful shit.
Generally, people who have NPD do not give a shit about how they act. They're not going to worry about whether or not they are Narcissists. They don't give a fuck. All they care about is themselves, they'll only care about how they treat others if it can get them into trouble that they don't want to be in or give off a negative image of themselves that they don't want people believing and some Narcissists don't even give a damn about that!
It's one of those disorders where if you are worried, likely you don't have it.
