It is just a habit from your childhood Ray however subconsious still helps calmyou to sleep. It's like how i still need a Teddy bear to sleep, I count sleep without a particular one when I was a baby and now it is hard for me to fall asleep without something to hold onto like that.
Am i maybe missing something?
