1). It was kinda shitty, and a breach of trust, to show your wife's nudes, to your "buddy", or ANYONE, even though your wife didn't mind, AFTER the FACT. She could've been pissed, and felt betrayed, and rightfully so.
2). The additional photos/sessions have a risk of falling into the "wrong" hands:
Kids, relatives, neighbors, internet, etc.
3). What if . . . down the road, you and your "buddy" have a "falling out"?
Photos are like insults.... you can't 'get them back'.
