Am i lazy?

Hi, I’m Japanese.
My English isn’t good enough to make correct sentences, but I need your help.

Now I start to regret staying home instead of going to work, to take care of my mother who caught a cold last few days. The reason why I regret is she’s getting completely better now.
I suspect she doesn’t need me today, and I should have been to work. I do almost nothing for her today, so I feel like I’m a lazy person, who takes the day off easily.

Please give me comments to make myself feel better.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

The Japanese have a great work ethic I heard, but have that same Asian pressure to be successful.

The decision is done, there isn’t anything you can do about it by worrying or beating yourself up, consider today a day of rest, recovery, and a reward for the days you did put in effort to care for your mother.

Remember to reward yourself for good work.

Don't get caught up in all the bullshit about how much you should be working or what more you should be doing at home, most people on iin just sit around all day in their undies picking snot balls and flicking them at the cat. I mean, I myself only worked from 8 30 am to 1 30 pm today and feel I should now retire at 30 so I can sit in my underwear and see how far I can flick buggers across the room.

That's pretty sad man. I just got a full Time job in a warehouse and I'm already looking at getting a second job.

Its like one mans trash is another mans treasure, what you may feel is sad another may feel in paradise. Either way it was a joke, well some of it was a joke.

So make the best of today with your mother, and go to work tomorrow.
