One pet peeve of mine, standing in line to be served and others get served. I feel invisible. Does this happens to others?

    I am tall and difficult to ignore.

    If you pretend to not see me, you are an idiot.

    However, what you describe seems to happen to me quite often.

    I think other people can tend to be rather rude. Perhaps it's an issue of people like us not being assertive enough?

    That happens to me too. I am passive and a little timid . I love to wait for that exact moment when people finally notice me standing there and go " omg I'm sorry! Were you in line?" Then I just stare at them.

    Do you happen to have a passive non commanding personality? This could be it. I've had people to ignore me, not take me seriously, treat me like shit (etc.) and it was more than likely do to my disposition. Very rarely, when I would take on a aggressive disposition, I would get noticed but the reactions I would be met with varied quite a bit.
