Normal is to be happy with who you are and the poeple around you, or if you are not happy, at least to be unaffected by them.
You need to work on your self. Think some more of other things so that your main obsessions will lose their strength. Don't be centered around others. Be centered in your own self.
One other trick that I find very helpful that makes me relax is to listen. Let go of all thought and just focus on the sounds around you.
Human voices can be annoying sometimes, but natural sounds and ambience can relax, balance you and bring you back to the reality you are supposed to be into.
