I am a 23 year-old waitress and behind on my bills.

Last night, near the end of my Shift, I waited on this guy and told him I was working extra shifts because I'm late on my rent.

He offered to help me out and would give me a $1,000 "Tip", if I came to his hotel room for the night and have sex with him.

I agreed to this and went to his hotel room, had sex with him multiple times and he said he would pay me in the morning.

When I woke up, he was gone, so I called the front desk, and they said he had already checked out.
I NEVER got paid, not even a dime!

So, am I Whore now, even though I didn't get paid?

No I don't think your a whore I think you just made a bad choice. Next time get paid up front. And before anyone start getting all high and mighty women have been sleeping with men to get paid longer then any of us have been alive. We all make mistakes and we do things out of desperation sometimes. Happens to everybody.

Huh. Kind of hard. I was going to say attempting to do something like that does make you that, like intent makes you the thing you gave a shot at being but that would obviously be wrong. Hopefully we can use Kanye West as an example in 2020 of how that mentality is wrong. Lol.

So I'd say no. You're an attempted and failed prostitute but not a prostitute.

  I'd say she is since she did get fucked for money multiple times. Whether the guy paid or not is a whole other story. She didn't have sex with him bcs she liked him. She had sex with him bcs he was offering to pay $$$ so it makes her a prostitute that got robbed.

  I was wondering how many other times this guy has done this. Sounds like a traveling "snake oil" salesman and he has probably done this before.
  
  Had she asked for the money up front, I'm sure he had some sort of story ready and would of BS'd her into believing.
  
  I was also wondering why only $1,000 if he had no intention of paying, but think she probably told him what she needed for rent, and she probably would of been more skeptical if he offered $10,000 or more.

You were caught between a rock and a hard place. Somebody offered you an easy way out. You were tempted and you accepted. You did your part and got stiffed. Do you plan to make a habit of doing this? Are you going to accept the next time some horny guy makes you an offer? If the answer to both questions is NO, then quit beating yourself up! You made a mistake. Nobody else knows about this. Learn from it and move on. That's what life is all about. We make mistakes, we learn, we move on.

You made a foolish mistake, that doesn't make you a whore.. They're other ways to come up with your rent, every state has some kind of agency that will help you. Try that next time, before you get something besides money that you dang sure don't want... Examples... Psychotic killer, kidnapper, aids, herpes, etc...

Firstly i hope you are ok, that was a horrendous experience. You are worth so much more than that. I think you were vulnerable and He took advantage of you. it was sick of him to say it, that was harassment in itself. But there are men like that out there and you have to be able to say no, you put your safety and life at risk by agreeing to go into his hotel room alone. I understand you were struggling with money but your life should come first. What you did was prostitution as you intended to sell your body for sex...BUT You dont have to live the rest of your life believing you are a whore because of that incident. Forgive yourself and move on. Learn from it that there is no amount of money that can pay for your suffering for someone else's pleasure. Even if you had got the money it wouldn't have been enough.

You were only a whore while you thought you were getting paid. Once it was over you weren't anymore, now you're just sad.

If you decide to do it again get the money up front, real whores do, then hand it off to someone you trust, or put it somewhere the john can't get to it.

  Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with prostitution, but some say my moral compass is broken (I say, "What moral compass?"). If you are okay with doing it then it's okay, unless of course it's illegal where you are, then you could get in trouble legally, but that sort of goes without saying. But at the end of the day you're the boss of you. You can do what you like, set whatever limits you want and enjoy the freedom of being your own person.

I think I became a whore due to this experience and other reasons, but I will leave politics and Obama out of it for now. I don't hate what I do and enjoy it, and love the money, but have found it's pretty much impossible to have a real relationship, if you are a whore. Any tips on how to get a job other than being a whore? Perhaps stick to my regulars and FWBs?

Well... you see.. take it as a learning experience. next time have an invoice duplicate book ready. Let the potential tipper pay upfront, write him an invoice for "1 x Sex" and give him the original and you keep the copy.

He offered you money to have sex with him and you accepted. When I back my toilet up and a guy comes to fix it, and I refuse to pay him is he not still a plumber? Or the waiter that I don't tip- are they not my waiter? Being paid isn't a valid excuse for agreeing to be paid.
