I'm a 20 year old girl and lately I've been wondering if I'm a pedophile. I got into porn when I was 12. More and more it's harder for me to find stuff that turns me on.

I tend to look at A LOT of Shotacon (hentai but with pre-pubescent boys). The younger they are the hotter I find it. I like when it's a young boy with an adult, for example I look at a lot of images of Goku fucking Trunks from DBZ. It's even hotter when it seems forced upon the boy (that seems to be the only genre of porn I can get off to, force/rape).

I AM attracted to adults, especially Japanese women.
I do feel really guilty for getting off on the shotacon.

Does this make me a pedophile?

    If you're looking at drawn stuff then there really is no harm, it's only when you veer over to child pornography that there's a problem (POSSIBLY the young looking guys in the anime's remind you subconsciously of japanese women adults?)

    And the non-con subgenre of fanfiction/fanart/yaoi/hentai is actually really common, just don't start actually raping people and you'll be fine lol

    As long as you don't act on these thoughts, you're not a bad person. For your own sake and for the sake of innocent children whose bodies no one as the right to use for their own pleasure, it would be best to talk to someone professional so you can get to the root of why you feel this and you can move on with your life and be happy.

    Would you love to see real young little boys being raped?
    If so, then yes, you are a pedophile.
    However, if your obsession is limited to mere shota, then perhaps not.

    It depends. To be a paedophile in the most literal sense you need to be attracted to prepubescent children... real ones, not drawings. If you're not attracted to real kids, you're not a paedophile.

    That doesn't necessarily mean the porn you're viewing is legal, though. As Angel says, some places class porn depicting underage children and/or rape and hentai or cartoon porn depicting underage children and/or rape as equally illegal. Look up where the law stands where you live if you want to make sure you're on the right side of it.

    depends on your local laws really.

    some states (or countries) include fake children as the same as real ones. be it in videos or stories.

    so i'd say be careful where you tread.

      In the United States, it's legal to watch/stream as much real live 8 year old fully nude child pornography as you want, but to download, possess, produce, or upload it, is when they will convict you.
