Am i a moron?

So I trying to file all my tax documentation which is really confusing. I HATE STOCK, because I have to keep track of all that shit. Secondly I had to get the form for my stock and I ended up sending the 2019 one even though it said 2020 tax. pdf

Next, why the hell is the government trying to collect tax on my .99 cents interest made from my debit account? I know its the law, but why is it the law?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

put what you can in a roth account and its off the tax radar

interest income is taxable cause some people make a buncha money off it and if youre wastin time not throwin a 99 cent 1099-int in the fireplace thats on you

    • Mayhaps. I definitely feel like one, since no one taught me these things. I didnt ask to be born, so at least teach me the important things to be a successful adult (im looking at you school and parents)

If you have to ask the question - then the answer is yes.

Most normal people understand that the tax code is complicated and that they need assistance with it. Investments and the taxes are never simple. Yet, a certain group of people seem to think that they can avoid getting an appropriate adviser involved.

I believed you named at least a good portion of that group in your title.

May I suggest that you start learning wisdom - and get the professional assistance you need.

Note: cyber-currancies are considered investments in the USA. I cannot imaging getting involved with Bitcoin, etc. unless its on a large enough scale to hire the appropriate financial & tax services to properly track them.
