I'm not desperate because I filter out sexual thoughts and by habit don't get them very much. It took effort but it doesn't bother me now. My family isn't toxic and would still love me if I didn't marry a man, but I think some of them would be disappointed, and I am definitely expected to have children. I'm just trying to stay in line with what people before me did because I think it's right. I just wanted to know what I really felt.

I guess you're right about the filtering. But I'm attracted to men so it will be okay. And when you love someone, they become special to you, so I will be fine. It's like when women who like men are married don't want to be with other guys just because they're straight. When you love someone, properly, they are definitely different, so it should solve it.

There are a lot of people out there who are like this, it's not a joke or a fad except in the minds of people who feel threatened or devalued by it. And yes she CAN have both men and women in her life. She just needs to find partners who are okay with this.
