I don't think you're a self-hater. You have your values and maybe the people you hang around don't share the same ones as you do. Its exactly the same as me which unfortunately limits both the people I can befriend or just feel comfortable with. I have my own personal preference in mates but if I met someone of my own who was great and I was attracted to them, I'd date them too and I have. There have been several raging IIN stories on here about uptight and unrealistic people posting a huge rant about how people should stay within their race but no, if you like someone, you like someone and everyone has preferences. Trust me, its as if I typed this story myself.
