I don't really look at anyone much like that anymore these days and I'm happy and more at peace because of it. If I find the right person then great, but if not it's better to be alone than in bad company.
The other day this woman who is roughly my age was talking about how she doesn't want to be alone, and I've never felt so happy to be myself. We have many of the same personal issues, but how we each deal with those issues is entirely different from one another.
