  • If you listen to winners they dont think like that. Their thinking is "no one can stop me I will win". I feel if I fail it is ultimately my fault. Because I could have made different choices that would have made a difference. Or I could have blamed society and id sleep well and my ego goes unharmed. It sucks to take responsibility it hurts to do it. Be stoic.

    • Well that's the thing about being a winner-- it AFFORDS you choices. If you've got no moves to make, not making those moves is then the fault of environment. A winner CAN choose to be a loser. Or he can choose to be a winner who took a loss. No matter WHAT he chooses, a guy like me is washin' the towels. The only difference is if he decides to give us a salute or a sock in the gut. Sure, a salute don't hurt, and he thinks he's givin' us a shine-- if he means it, all power to him, it beats the alternative. But it ultimately means nothing to us. He gives us our moment and we go wash the towels. Or we decide it DOES mean something and decide to take life by the horns-- and are promptly FIRED-- AT BEST. Because he would have forgotten that that's not what towel washers are supposed to do. Towel washers are supposed to wash towels. And to deny that this kind of thing happens is to deny the very violence it often results in.
