Alphago has done it. beat a human at humanity's most complex game.

The last bastion of human superiority has fallen to a computer. The game of GO, which is exponentially more complex than chess has been won by AlphaGo, an AI program running in parallel on 1,920 CPUs and 280 Graphic processors. It beat the second highest rated human in the world, 4-1 in a 5 match tournament in South Korea.

    It's fairly easy to program a computer to perform a series of mathematical algorithms.
    "AlphaGo" has a gazillion miles to go before it has the intelligence of a rat's brain.
    I bet I can beat it a bullshit poker.

      We don't even have a computer that can do what a fruit fly can do with a few hundred thousand neurons. When will it realistically happen? Never.

    A computer that can do trillions of calculations per second. And the best it can do is beat a human at a game. We have a much better processor and interact to many situations better than any computer. Maybe not spell better in my case. LOL
