Almost everyday i bring myself in a trance. is it normal ?

I mostly use trance, pop, nightcore as music because of the repetitivity of the songs. It keeps the trance stable.
The trance is dreaming but I have almost full control of the dream. This way I'm able to dream my own stories, situations. The mind is limitless.

Is it normal to do this ?

  • Yeah, most of my music puts me in a trance. It's more certain songs our groups for me though, like cypress hill, some incubus songs, APC, idiot pilot, Interpol, song "the man who sold the world" and certain oldies. It's really the only kind of music i like, the kind that takes you away.

  • If think it's normal. I can "zone out" and relax if I have the right kind of music, usually electronica.

      • It is just a game with a lot of music to download like nightcore, anime openings, techno, every type of music you can think of. You're post reminded me of it that is all.

  • When no one's home, I'll set the speakers to their loudest setting, turn out the lights and just lay there. Works good with songs like No Quarter by Tool or Demiurge by Meshuggah. Trance,Dance, or Nightcore is usually more of my workout music.

  • I find I can do this to an extent whilst on a long car journey, with earphones in, whilst half asleep provided I listen to an album of similar sounding songs...
