For this theory to be true, it would mean that "normal" people don't have the same impulses and I don't think that's true. I think most of us have probably been in a situation where someone wronged us and, somewhere deep down, we wanted that person to get a comeuppance. That's not necessarily "evil," it's just a part of human nature. Extending this analogy, the only thing that separates the "evil" people who actually follow through on their desires and those who don't is the gumption/willpower/detachment to realize their vision. I don't think these qualities are inherently evil as they are considered positive attributes in different contexts. Therefore, you can't argue all "evil" people have mental issues.
Narcissistic and sociopathic people have abnormalities in the parts of the brain controlling empathy, conscience, impulse control, decision-making etc.. specially the full blown ones., so just like suicidal, depressed, ocd etc people, its not their fault they are wired that way.. its all in the brain so any person who committed super evil acts obviously are mentally ill., they don't have to be diagnosed. Part of the symptoms of their disorder is they don't think anything is wrong with them and never seek help.. and most "seem" very normal compared to other types of mental illnesses. The world is actually full of narcissists and sociopaths who just weren't diagnosed and added to statistics. Of course there are different degrees of severity depending on the brain's biology and physiology and not every one of them is a murderer or rapist.
You criticize others for not connecting the dots, yet you don't seem to realize you're connecting things that don't belong together. Correlation is not causation.
Of Course they won't seek treatment as along as people like you exist; people who refuse to accept that mental illness is not the only cause of violence and believe they are complete scum that need to be euthanized.
"Euthanized" and "understood not condemned" don't belong in the same sentence.
