  • All bathrooms should be one stall, unisex and accessible. Separating people by gender is old fashioned because we now know how complicated gender and sexuality really is. No one, especially gay/trans people, should be forced to stand at a urinal or defecate in a stall that's not sound proof that people could peak into. Every bathroom should be a lockable, sound-proof room with a toilet, sink, change table, handbar, etc. There should be rows of these individual rooms not one room with individual metal stalls with cracks between the doors. Some stores and restaurants already have it set up like this. They're ahead of their time. Actually, I'm also against mirrors above sinks, because in some cultures vanity is frowned upon, and some people don't like to have to avoid seeing themselves under the fluorescent lights every time they wash their hands.

Often when there is a line-up at a girls' bathroom, the girls just waltz into the guys' bathroom, usually giggling. It's pretty hypocritical because the pepper spray would be out if a guy walked into a girls' bathroom. It's like men don't deserve privacy.
