I can understand enjoying it. I am an alcoholic and enjoy it but it doesn't improve my social skills. I just talk more than usual. It does that to everyone.
Yeah. but it also clears my mind so i can focus properly, usually i drink alone, and feel like reading/studying after a few because I can finally hear myself think. it kills all the negative thoughts that normally distract me
Alcohol cures autism

It doesnt. I have autism too and I do have a high tolerance to alcohol but it does not cure anything. You are just talking more.

Sounds like a comorbid emotional problem.
I'm not distressed by my autism.

I agree. I have terrible anxiety which causes racing thoughts and inhibits my ability to track and speak eloquently.
Alcohol appears to fix this problem in the short term but it's just an insidious illusion.
By the time you reach my age the anxiety is worse, health is worse and you're left with huge drinking problem.
Not saying OP suffers anxiety but the symptoms seem similar.
Ok, fair point
