Call the your apartment manager and place a complaint about the noise. I think Ellenna's idea about past trauma relating to sex is a valid suggestion. I also think think you have the right to even call the police on a noise complaint. When people live in very close proximity to their neighbors as in an apartment or condominium any kind of loud noise pollution can make one feel a loss of serenity as it tramples all over the expected boundaries. You have a right to not want be disturbed whether it's by your neighbor's crappy music or other more personal noises. I imagine one might feel trapped between not wanting to make enemies by placing a complaint and the longing for peace and quiet.

My favorite neighbors are quiet ones who keep to themselves. Good fences make good neighbors.

So, it's only sex noises where you can't see what's going on eh? Try putting porn on in a different room, turning up the sound, and seeing if you have the same reaction.

If you do have the same reaction - use porn to desensitise yourself.
