Adults only....do you have a long-standing hatred for a parent or both parents?

I'm 36 and I love both of my parents. My father has a lot of despicable character traits, but I still love him deeply.
ive hated my mum for as long as i can remember shes a uselsee bitch havent talked to her in years. love my dad to bits tho.
wait you siad adults only ? Are you trying to fish out the kids you are suppose to be 18 to be on this site ? Incase you did not realize .
I love my parents and they did a great job raising 4 children. My mother is the most powerful, beautiful, hard working women I know. She does everything for her family and then some. My dad on the other hand cheated on her so I hold this hate inside for him and I'm sure it will never go away. THis happened when I was 18. Im 25 now.
Talking about the natural love for biological parents. Unless they never brought you up or you were a victim of abuse etc. There's always exceptions but i was talking generally :)
I don't hate mine.
What I'm wondering about is... if people ARE adults who hate their parents... why? And what's holding these adults back from moving on with their lives?
nothings holding me back from moving along with my life :)
i just dont talk to that particular parent i dislike her disagree with her she was abusive, and when me and my brothers tryed to talk about this with her she denies all of it so i just have not time for this person.
i hope that helps its not like my lifes at a stand still? lol
One find oneself annoyed at their actions, but pure hatred? That is strong stuff, not to be administered on loved ones.
