Find a place where you fit in. For me, a guitar player, I started hanging with fellow musicians. Found them jamming in the park or playing on street corners. I became a street musician myself and all of these very interesting woman started appearing in my life. If you read then check out the public library. They all have computer banks now. Some babe in distress is bound to need some internet advice. Act like you have a doctorate in computer tech or something. Who gives a fuck. But it could be an opening for something big with her. Or volunteer for something. A rescue mission soup kitchen is loaded with compassionate babes with a good heart who volunteer to serve food to homeless people. In short, get out there. Show yourself. Remember, you have self worth. You are NOT a piece of shit. Good luck. And stay away from those hookers. They're nasty.
Excellent advice! You could do a lot worse than donating time and volunteering for charity. I personally do it and it works wonders. Like you I am also an introvert but a socially functioning one. Another really cool way to meet new and interesting people is to participate in community events. Tai Chi in the park? Kite exhibitions? Volunteer and you'll be surprised who you meet.
