    Just follow him, in the off chance you have to “defend” your follow just say you were on a following spree and were adding people with mutual friends

      Na man dont start something with a lie. Avoid lies at all costs.

      Just be truthful say you added him cause you wanted to express that you are interested. Plus op Instagram is still a thing?

        Instagram is indeed still a thing. I'm pretty sure it's going out of style, though. I think we're living in the decline of social media.
