Hi, ok so recently I’ve been talking to this guy in a shop around near where my brother lives. He’s cute and I really like him. And I think he likes me too.
As he flirts with me. We have had a few conversations he told me his name and I told him mine.
I found him on Instagram and was wondering would it be ok to add him or would it be creepy as he didn’t give it to me?
I wasn’t sure should I wait and ask him to add me or should i ask to add him.
I don’t know what to do any advice would be great thank you.

    The solution to your problem: ask him if he has an Instagram. When he says yes and tells you the address, add him. Bada-bing.

        You are adding his name to a public notice. I would ask his permission first otherwise people in town who walk by may assume you're friends, and you might have a reputation you are unaware of that would hurt his social status amongst his family and friends.

              Just saying, you could be guilty by association. Look at Epstein. He didn't want to be there either. We don't always have a choice, but in this case you have total control.

    Just mention it to him next time you see him and gauge his reaction. Like, "hey I saw your Insta the other day" with a laugh. You should be able to judge by his reaction if it's ok or not.

    Better yet, why not just ask him out if you like him. Why bother with social media??

      Cause I’m really shy, normally I would but it’s in a shop where’s there lots of other people so I’d feel really akward and if he said no i would still have to see him when I do my shopping

    Personally i'd first ask him if he has instagram. I think that's more polite, you don't know if he would be comfortable with you just following. Personally I don't appreciate it much when people have used my name to look all my social media up and then just follows me, unless we've started getting pretty close, but everyone is different in that sense.

    Just say it came up as a suggested account for you to follow. If anything, he’ll probably be flattered that you took the time to find it.

    Just follow him, in the off chance you have to “defend” your follow just say you were on a following spree and were adding people with mutual friends

      Na man dont start something with a lie. Avoid lies at all costs.

      Just be truthful say you added him cause you wanted to express that you are interested. Plus op Instagram is still a thing?
