Accidental shaving my face gave me stubble

a few years ago, I was shaving my legs in the shower and I was shaving upwards.my elbow hit part of the shower and it hurt so, I quickly moved away in pain and, without realizing, I accidentally shaved parts of my face. I checked to see if I cut myself. Nothing was there so I went on with my life.

around a few days later, I was putting on makeup and I turned on my vanity lights. I saw these dark hairs that started to grow out thick. It didn't take long for me to realize those same spots is the same spots where I accidentally shaved.

I looked online and I've read articles about woman shaving their faces. There are woman who did and never gotten stubble like I did. I'm constantly seeing comments about, "shaving doesn't make your hair get thicker"
But, if that were true than why did I grow dark facial hair on the spots that got shaved?
I've read articles about POSC syndrome. But I'm pretty sure I don't have that considering that woman with posc have a full beard problem while, I only have a few spots of thick hair. I never seen anything online about woman having similar experiences such as mine.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I shave my face.. and I'm a girl. I just don't like the little peach hairs but I don't think you should worry about it. Keep shaving??

I think that happened to my sister once. Not a lot of hair but she grew a light mustache
