I want to thank whichever one of you generous weirdos kindly gifted me my first ever gold 2 hours ago. The last 2 days of my life have been like a tall drink of mid-July dumpster juice and coming onto this swamp to find your gift really lifted my spirits. I have been shocked and disgusted on here many times but have never before been moved. Now after nearly 10 years on is it normal I can finally have a month of the black user name I’ve always lusted after.

          RIP to that theory. Unless there are 2 benefactors who happened to pick the same day, which seems unlikely.

          I understand that they want to stay anonymous but was it someone you talk to often or more of a background character?

            It seems like it was planned, like a group effort to send gold. Maybe as a social experiment, to see what each person with gold does?

            I don't want reveal any identifying markers about them, I'm guessing they wanted them all to be anonymous

            I did send them a message and I got a reply which seemed to hint they didn't wanna talk about it. So maybe it was just to send gold to people they liked or thought were interesting?

    I suspected that too, that they were giving out free samples to regular users to get us hooked. However I’ve noticed RoseIsabella and a few other frequent commenters haven’t been given gold despite being obvious candidates.

    I don’t see why it would need be anonymous either, I would see being noticed by management as an asset to the site a compliment. I suspect it’s the same person who accidentally revealed themself to Shinobi, unless Shinbi IS the mysterious benefactor...

        I'm guessing a few different people since I seem to be the anomaly in my gift not being anonymous, unless they forgot to hit it. But I would suspect making the same purchase for several people they would try to be cognizant of being anonymous for each one, unless by the time they got to me they were ready to be done

            I saw your thank you post, although it was after this one blew up

            I think if your karma is good enough your posts go up immediately, and if not it needs to be moderated. I've scrolled through the recent posts and have seen new ones pop up after a few days, in the order they were submitted I'm guessing but not revealed until approved. Just a bunch though, I don't really know how it works

        Itll be gone in a month. Why you dont see more gold is because gold is practically useless for the members the money just goes to the sites maintenance you just get a gold button to wear in gratitude.
