Is it normal to experience thoughts like: 'Who says that if there is a god that there is any good about him? Maybe whatever put us here is purely based around horror, fear and torture. That would make us all negative beings. And it might even make a bit of sense. The stories of light and love being the ultimatum sound nice, but those things could just be the byproduct of darkness and hate.'?

    Completely normal. Your thoughts seem to concur a bit with the gnostic religion. It's the belief that there is a god, but it's not perfect at all. The god is flawed, just as we are.

    It's good to experience doubt and to wonder about the world. I'd much sooner have dark thoughts than no thoughts at all.

    Interesting. Ill watch it soon, thanks. I've had experiences that may support this thought. Potentially down to my first memory, which is essentially remebering a void. (Remembering it at all is a bit of an oxymoron since I recall not having thought along with the nothingness)

    Watch the movie 'Prince of Darkness'. It's an 80s horror movie and it's actually really similar to what you believe.
