A sudden jolt through my entire body

Sometimes I will be sitting up or laying down and I get a sudden jolt through my entire body. A few times my body has done it quite a few times in a row. My entire body jumps and I can't tell when it's going to happen or even try to prevent it. I noticed that when I'm upset it happens a lot too. Is this normal? What could cause this? I'm a little overweight but generally healthy.

My shoulders do that. They lurch upwards and I shiver a little.

I get this too, I think it's just muscle spasms. If do many people are having the same thing happen, then it probably isn't bad just a little odd.

I get it randomly but only in my upper body. Very strange and at first I thought it has something to do we Popping (popping is a dance style where you have to tence your muscles and relax them 0.1s after you tenced them). Does any of you pratice Popping?

It happens randomly though. Even when I'm moving around.

Something similar happens to me but its just a little jolt. Not something that comes with pain or something that's even that noticeable.

If it happens when youve been still for some time its most likely your brain telling your body to move to convince it that the body has not died. Very common, especially when falling asleep

I get it too and I'm also average weight. So do my brothers.
I have no idea what it is, but I don't really mind it. People just think that I'm weird.
