I got molested as well. It's not your fault, are you kidding me??
TELL THE POLICE, idc what that guy said to you they give you threats like "Ill hurt this person if you tell" but it's all lies, call the police and tell your parents or whoever looks after you, unless it's someone looking after you then go talk to people at your school or something. Believe me if you don't do it now you'll regret it later on, this thing could happen another time if you don't do anything about ti. Sorry if I seem rude but It bothers me when I see people doing nothing about it. I got molested at age 5 and I told my mom because I knew the guy was lying. Please tell someone.
I forgot to mention to not hurt yourself There are lots of other options than to just hurting yourself. PLEASE!
It takes a long time to heal from something like this but believe me you will heal! talk to someone or you could go to a therapist, but therapist's don't always work it just takes time. If you go to the police it's wayy better because you know this guy personally, it took years for the person who molested me to be found and be put in jail. I really hope you make the right choice. No pressure, though. It hurts me just seeing how you're struggling and there's nothing I could do.
THIS WAS NOT YOUR FAULT! Please don't blame yourself! It sounds to me as if you need a lot of help to get through this: is there an adult you trust who would support you?
I agree with AntiArchon that you need therapy if you're at the point of wanting to harm yourself: is there a school counsellor or chaplain you could talk to as a first step to finding some longterm help?
I don't know what country you're in: do you have access to anonymous crisis phone lines you could call?
I am very sorry this has happened to you and I repeat, IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!
I'm sure your intentions are good, but you really can't tell someone else what they shouldn't be feeling! The advice to forget about it or just stay away from the predator isn't helpful either, and of course it will almost certainly happen again if some sort of action isn't taken. Silence is giving him permission to keep doing whatever he did.
In fact the only thing I agree with in your post is that it's not OP's fault.
