A month ago i received in the mail

I received a "60 day no cause" eviction. I was supposed to be here till january. If people wondering why so many people are fucking homeless, pretty much EVERYWHERE I contacted they want your income to be 2 1/2-3 times the monthly rent. Who the hell is on disability and makes $2400-3000 a month. I sure dont.
I am a disabled Veteran. In about 3 1/2 weeks I'm about to be homeless again because some property management company on a "no cause" or a what ever we just want you out. I keep to myself, I'm legally blund, and yet.I'm supposed to on a whim pack up and move. Thank you So much. I appreciate being treated like this and so look forward to being homeless again. I'm posting this just as a note to others. When you see homeless, before you condemn, know their situation first.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

More people than are willing to admit, are only one calamity away from homelessness.

My belief is that people stigmatize homelessness in order to assuage their own personal fears.

If you live even close to a paycheck to paycheck life, this could be you.

I hope you land on your feet. God bless.

  • Well, I found another one bedroom to apply for. It's about a mile and a half from current location. I called the property manager here at current and asked about moving into another unit here, she said "nope, there's nothing I can do for you." I suspect this is all coming about because I got really upset when I caught 3 Mexican kids that just stole gas out of my truck. I saw the jugs in their hands. One kid that I'm pretty sure he saw what was going on said he had seen a certain type of SUV that was involved. Suddenly that SUV pulls into our parking lot. Pretty coincidental. I may or may not have stuck a note on windshield saying that if I find out they stole gas out if my truck, I won't call police but I will call an ambulance. Well if they didn't steal gas out of truck how the hell would they know it was me that (may or may not have) put a note on their truck. It was about 3 am when that note ended up on that windshield (somehow). So with no proof. I even said "IF I find out". So draw your own conclusion- I was getting the shifty end of a stick because some little fucking thieves getting their jollys. Yes I have a locking cap on there now. So your thoughts ? Why would they complain to the management of they didn't steal gas out of my truck ? How would they know where to go out of about 46 apartments.

How can they kick you out if you pay your rent on time? I don't get it. I would look for legal advice and stand your ground. As a veteran free legal advice should be available.

That stinks and I do hope your situation improves. I would never condemn anyone for being homeless because as a tenant on a disability pension with some casual work I'm always at risk of homelessness if the owner doesn't renew my lease. That's why I'm not taking legal steps to force him to repair the damage from an electrical kitchen fire back in July, cause not even investigated, in case he decides I'm too much trouble as a tenant.

Is there a squatting movement in the usa? There's sort of a one here in Australia but at in my 70's and with a dog I would have trouble doing that oo and it's not secure either.

I really feel for you and wish you luck. I won't pray like RoseIsabella though because I don't believe anyone is listening to anyone's prayers.

If it wasn't for my family I would probably end up homeless. I will keep you in my prayers. I hope you can find another place soon!
